We support our clients across the full property lifecycle from due diligence and structuring to registration, development, leasing, and dispute resolution.
Our services include verification of ownership interests at land registries, historical ownership and fraud risk, boundary and survey verification, drafting and reviewing sale agreements and transfer instruments.
We advise landlords, tenants, and property managers on lease structures and tenancy arrangements, where we offer advisory on lease renewals, variations, and terminations, statutory protections, joint venture arrangements between landowners and developers, compliance with planning and building regulations, infrastructure, estate, and mixed-use development advisory, and condominium development, purchase, and sale.
We also work closely with banks and borrowers in property-backed financing, where we perfect securities by registering mortgages and charges. We also advise on enforcement of real estate securities and conduct due diligence for financiers in secured financing arrangements, both conventional and Islamic-based, as well as advise clients on regulatory and public law aspects affecting land ownership and use. Where disputes or risks arise, the Firm can ably advise on risk mitigation, dispute avoidance, and resolution relating to land and property ownership, competing claims, and transactional breakdowns.
