Learn, Lead, connect, progress! – was the theme of the 8th Cambridge Islamic finance leadership programme 2024.
I was previleged to have been selected to attend this programme at Clare college, University of Cambridge and sponsored by DDCAP Group™ , UK (WOMANi – Women in Islamic Business & Finance – bursary) as the group’s testament to its unwavering commitment to gender diversity and women empowerment within the Islamic financial sector.
This programme prepares the next generation of leaders in Islamic finance by providing them with unique leadership development opportunities, passionate learning and global networking with the vanguards of the industry.
Borrowing from the words of Mr.Iqkbal Khan,CEO Fajr Capital, “ The programme nurtures authentic leaders
to advance our industry” I was equally elated to have constituted the group whose project management task was evaluated as the winner and awaits publication in the next edition of ISFIRE magazine.
The knowledge gained, skills acquired and connections made with industry professionals will surely go a long way in catapulting my reach in the Islamic Finance Industry.
